Wall Township Real Estate
While Wall Township was officially established in the early 1850s, its beginnings go back to colonial times, with early settlers building homes here as early as 1700. Initially supported by agriculture and the fishing industry (in the Manasquan and Shark River inlets), today this community of 26,000 inhabitants is popular for its outdoor recreation and close proximity to some of New Jersey’s best beaches.
One of Wall Township’s most noted attractions is Allaire State Park along the Manasquan River, which includes the historic living history museum Allaire Village, the Pine Creek Railroad and plenty of outdoor activities such as camping, fishing and horseback riding. A few minutes’ drive to the east brings you to the popular beach communities of Belmar, Spring Lake, Sea Girt and Manasquan.
